About Us
Ladies and Gentlemen
On the occasion of the fifteenth anniversary of our nursery farm, we have the pleasure of presenting You the achievement of our activity.
We have started the adventure with nursery from the ground production of coniferous and deciduous plants, gradually increasing the assortment of species and varieties.
Thanks to the efficiency of our work, as early as in the 1990s, we managed to expand the cultivation area five times, from 2 to 10 hectares.
Currently our farm is production-minded:
- park and alley trees in the ground,
- hedge bushes cultivated in the ground
- deciduous bushes and trees, climbers cultivated in containers;
- coniferous and deciduous grafted material in containers.
For our Customers we have created retail outlet and display gardens, where one can see the rich collection of plants that are produced by us. High quality and variety of production have gained recognition of the individual customers, garden designers and garden centres owners. Since the year 2000 we have been exporting our plants to the countries of Eastern Europe, among other to Lithuania and Ukraine and to our southern neighbours -the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Nursery
Our nursery farm was founded in 1989. However, the very first attempts at breeding plants and collecting nurseries began in 1982 after graduating gardening school.
We started from the ground cultivation of deciduous and coniferous plants, covering the area of two hectares. In order to increase the amount of sub-species, every year for our need, we bred the plants, gained with difficulty. In the 1990s we expanded the area of our nursery farm to 10 hectares.
Currently we are focusing on the ground production of plants and alley trees, grafted in the ground; among other things: Acer negundo in varieties, Acer platanoides in varieties, Ulmus in varieties, Sorbus in varieties, Prunus in varieties, Larix in varieties, Crategus in varieties, Robinia in varieties and a lot of species which are bred in a smaller amount for connoisseurs.
For many years we have been producing a wide assortment of deciduous plants in containers and climbers.
Another field of our activity is hedge plants, cultivated in the ground, such as: Eastern Thuja - several varieties, spruce in varieties, pine and fir. This material is sold with the root block in the spring and autumn and is packed in the jute cloth and bowls or flowerpots.
The nursery has a retail outlet, where our customers, while shopping, are informed about all growing conditions and cultivation of plants. Wholesale is kept among the garden centres, landscape or gardening architects. We are provided with our own transport. Part of the production is exported to the countries of Eastern Europe.
